Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is reportedly wanted by West Ham United.
According to The Guardian, West Ham United are preparing a £25m offer to sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, having failed to land him over the summer.
The Hammers have struggled in attack this season, with Diafra Sakho’s strike in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday the first Premier League goal scored by a West Ham striker this season.

Summer signings Jonathan Calleri and Simone Zaza have yet to score in any competition, another pre-season addition has been out injured in Andre Ayew, whilst Andy Carroll has been missing since the first game of the campaign and Ashley Fletcher is one for the future.
With Sakho now out with a hamstring injury, meaning West Ham are again left short of goalscorers – and having missed out on a big-money striker over the summer, they’re seemingly prepared to try again in January.
Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson celebrates scoring
The Guardian report that the Hammers want to sign Bournemouth hitman Callum Wilson in January, and are prepared to offer £25m for him, having failed with a £15m offer during the summer transfer window.
Wilson, 24, hit 23 goals during Bournemouth’s promotion campaign in the 2014-15 season, but missed most of last term with a knee injury, scoring five goals in 13 games – three of which came in a superb performance against West Ham at Upton Park.

Now back to full fitness, Wilson has scored four goals in 12 Premier League games for Bournemouth, and is believed to be a target for West Ham once again.
It’s claimed that West Ham are prepared to offer £25m, but Bournemouth – much like they were when the Hammers offered £15m in the summer – are reluctant to sell their star striker, especially in the middle of the season.
