Troy Deeney may be willing to leave Watford on loan with Southampton and West Brom keen on the veteran striker, according to the Daily Mail.
The Star also claim West Ham are interested in the forward and have inquired after him.
The long-serving Hornet will be 33 this time next year and, while his blood runs yellow and black after a decade at Vicarage Road, Deeney might feel a parting of the ways is due.
But it’s not quite a case of goodbye. More ‘see you later’.
The late-blooming targetman has a limited time left at Premier League level and who at Watford would blame him for deciding to pursue other adventures – especially just for a season.
The Mail suggests Deeney could be tempted to leave Hertfordshire on loan until summer 2021 before returning to his old stomping ground if Vladimir Ivic succeeds in leading Watford to promotion at the first time of asking.
The Birmingham-born battering ram has no shortage of top-flight suitors either.

His experience could come in handy at a struggling West Brom side and, if Watford agree to a loan, a short-term deal shouldn’t stand in the Baggies’ way of getting Karlan Grant from Huddersfield Town too (Express and Star).
The Mirror (11 October, page 73) reports Southampton see Deeney as a back-up for Danny Ings.
A West Ham side who have produced their best performances under David Moyes with an aggressive, mobile number nine are interested too (Star).
Deeney may be more famed for his tenacity and off-the-field outspoken views but his goalscoring record in the Premier League shouldn’t go unnoticed either.
He even scored ten times in 27 games even though Watford were relegated last term.
