West Ham United have reportedly offered winger Sofiane Feghouli to a number of Premier League rivals.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United have offered winger Sofiane Feghouli to other Premier League clubs, with a view to a January loan deal.

Feghouli joined West Ham on a free transfer over the summer after his Valencia contract had expired, and having hit 31 goals in 202 games for the La Liga side, Hammers fans were excited when Feghouli penned a three-year deal with the club.

Whilst he scored his first goal for the club in just his second game – a Europa League qualifier against NK Domzale in August – Feghouli’s time in East London has been frustrating so far.

The Algerian international missed the first month of the Premier League season with a hamstring injury, and has since struggled to establish himself in the West Ham starting line-up.

Feghouli has yet to start a Premier League game this season, playing just 131 minutes across six substitute appearances, and his only starts have come in the EFL Cup or the Europa League qualifiers.

Now, the Daily Mail report that West Ham have offered Feghouli to Premier League rivals in the hope of sending him out on loan in January, as he seemingly won’t have a role to play in Slaven Bilic’s side in the immediate future.

Feghouli does have pace and quality, and a team struggling in the Premier League – like Crystal Palace, Sunderland or Swansea City – could be prime options for Feghouli to go out and play first-team football, whilst acclimatising himself to Premier League football.

However, one factor which could put teams off a move for Feghouli is that he will head off to the Africa Cup of Nations with Algeria in January, and will subsequently miss a number of Premier League games.
