West Ham United are reportedly keen on Hoffenheim’s Joelinton.

According to Calciomercato, West Ham United have now joined the race for Hoffenheim striker Joelinton amid links to Newcastle United.
The Hammers will clearly be in the market for attacking reinforcements this summer, with up to four strikers expected to leave the London Stadium this summer.
Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez and Lucas Perez have all been linked away, whilst Andy Carroll’s contract expires this summer and is unlikely to be renewed.
That leaves Manuel Pellegrini desperately needing more firepower, and Calciomercato claim that the Hammers are now keen on Hoffenheim hitman Joelinton.
The Brazilian, 22, has excelled for Hoffenheim this season, hitting 11 goals and six assists in 32 games, proving himself as an all-round forward.
Joelinton is strong and good in the air at 6ft 1in tall, but also has a turn of pace and great ability on the ball, meaning it’s no great shock teams are looking to sign him.

He has become a hot name in English football of late, as Sport1 in Germany recently claimed that Newcastle United were ready to pay £52million to bring him to the Premier League.
However, The Sunday Mirror (24/3; page 70) claimed that Newcastle don’t think Joelinton is worth a reduced £40million fee, and that stance may just allow West Ham to nip in and take him to East London instead.
