West Ham United are said to be in a ‘good position’ to secure the signing of Josh King from Bournemouth by the Telegraph.
West Ham are keen to bring in King before the domestic transfer deadline, as they look to bolster their forward line.
King is believed to be eager to move back to the Premier League following Bournemouth’s relegation last season.
West Bromwich Albion had appeared to be leading the charge for the £10 million striker.
However, West Ham may now have leapt ahead of them in the race, as they aim to bring the forward to the London Stadium.
West Ham are keen to add another attacker following the departure of Felipe Anderson.

King, who was once hailed as ‘brilliant’ by Jermain Defoe (Tribal Football), would add further pace to West Ham’s forward line, and his ability to play out wide or as a central striker makes him an appealing option.
King hit six goals and claimed four assists for Bournemouth last term.
