West Ham United are now concerned about signing Joshua King from Bournemouth, Football London say.
West Ham have been chasing King for the past week, but have failed to agree a deal with Bournemouth.
The Hammers have recently had a bid turned down for King, which was worth £13 million.
And West Ham now feel that the transfer is just becoming too expensive.
The Hammers realise that King will have little re-sale value at the age of 28, and they are now worried about completing the transfer at his current asking price, which is set at around £18 million.

If West Ham can get a discount on the forward they still retain an interest in him, though.
King would offer speed and versatility to David Moyes’ side’s attack, and his vast amount of Premier League experience also makes him an appealing option.
