West Ham United face competition for Nikola Milenkovic as Juventus have entered the race for the defender.
According to CalcioMercato, the Serie A giants are keen on the centre-back as a replacement for Merih Demiral.
The Turkish international is due to join Atalanta, who are signing the Juventus defender with Cristian Romero heading to Tottenham.
As per the report, West Ham have been the most interested side in Milenkovic, who is expected to leave AFC Fiorentina this summer.
However, Juventus’ interest in the defender could complicate matters for David Moyes’ side.
Milenkovic is a target for West Ham as reported by Sky Sports News. But with Massimiliano Allegri’s side now in the race for the 23-year-old titan, the Irons will need to act fast if they are to sign the Serbian international.
West Ham face an uphill battle to sign Milenkovic
Indeed, Juventus have their pick of the talent in Serie A. It is a large reason why Arsenal are set to miss out on Manuel Locatelli. The midfielder is eager to join the Turin giants despite the Gunners offering more.

And it is this immense pull in Italy that could result in West Ham missing out in Milenkovic.
Although the youngster will play more first-team football with the east London side, including competing in Europe, Juventus are the club everyone wants to play for.
West Ham might be able to beat the Old Lady to Milenkovic, but the Premier League club face an uphill battle with the UEFA Champions League giants in the race for the Serbian defender.
