David Moyes’s West Ham United are now actively trying to sign Conor Gallagher from Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea, according to a report.
Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that West Ham United are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist has claimed that the Hammers have offered the Blues £40 million in transfer fees for Conor Gallagher.
Romano has added that Chelsea have not officially given an answer to West Ham.
ESPN, though, has reported that the Blues have rejected West Ham’s offer of £40 million for the 23-year-old England international midfielder, who was described as “extraordinary and outstanding” by former Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel on the club’s official website in April 2022 while he was on loan at Crystal Palace.
Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher should consider West Ham United move
In our opinion, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher should seriously consider a move to West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Gallagher is one of the best young English players around, and we believe that he could flourish at West Ham.
The 23-year-old could go straight into the Hammers’ first team.
After all, Declan Rice has left for Arsenal, so there is a spot in David Moyes’s team.
Gallagher is a versatile player who can operate in central midfield, in a more advanced position or out wide.
The 23-year-old has made 99 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Gallagher has scored 13 goals and given six assists in those games.
West Ham won the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and will play in the UEFA Europa League next campaign.
The Hammers will also aim to finish in the top eight of the Premier League table next season.
