West Ham United, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town reportedly want Thiago Mendes of Lille in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that West Ham have enquired about signing Mendes, who is claimed to be valued at £18 million by his French club Lille.
The Hammers’ Premier League rivals, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United, all have reportedly also enquired about the 26-year-old midfielder.
Italian club Lazio and German side Wolfsburg are interested in Mendes as well, according to The Times.
Quality footballer
Mendes has been on the books of Lille since 2017 when he moved from Brazilian giants Sao Paulo and is a very good midfielder.

The 26-year-old midfielder made 27 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring three goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
The Brazilian would be a good signing for West Ham or Newcastle in the summer transfer window, although the reported transfer fee of £18m needed does appear to be too much.
