West Ham United continue to be linked with Gary Medel.

According to Milliyet, Besiktas will hold talks again with West Ham United about a deal for Gary Medel – and are ready to relax their stance.
The Hammers have this evening confirmed their first signing for January as playmaker Samir Nasri has signed as a free agent having been on trial with the club.
West Ham will now be in the market for more additions, and with the creative Nasri on board, a more defensive-minded midfielder may be wanted.
Medel, 31, has become the main name linked with a move to the London Stadium, and West Ham appear to be a step closer to signing him.
Milliyet in Turkey report that Besiktas and West Ham are scheduled to continue talks imminently, and Besiktas are ready to weaken their stance on keeping Medel as he wants to go.
The holding midfielder joined Besiktas from Inter in 2017, and has made 65 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.

A move to West Ham would see him work alongside fellow Chilean Manuel Pellegrini, with the Hammers boss seemingly driving a move for the anchor man.
Known as ‘The Pitbull’, Medel is an aggressive, combative holding midfielder, and may make a shock return to the Premier League having already featured for Cardiff City in the past.
