West Ham United midfielder Sead Haksabanovic is being pursued by the Swedish champions, but perhaps a move will not take place.

Haksabanovic has endured a difficult time since arriving at the London Stadium for £2.7 million in 2017 (fee reported by London Evening Standard). He has only managed to break into the first-team on a handful of occasions and was given the green light to join Malaga on loan in the summer.
Unfortunately, his spell in Spain has not gone to plan and he appears to be in line to be on the move again this month. Fotboll Direkt reports that AIK are keen on the 19-year-old.

But West Ham would prefer to discuss a loan deal.
It is interesting that the Premier League side have more of an interest in talks over a temporary move. Some Hammers fans may have felt that Haksabanovic was possibly not going to feature in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans moving forward, but perhaps these talks suggest otherwise.
He still has a lot to prove following his disappointing stint at Malaga, but perhaps West Ham are not writing the teenager off just yet.
