West Ham United have reportedly made a move for Sunderland’s Didier Ndong.

According to RMC Sport, West Ham United have made an offer to Sunderland for midfielder Didier Ndong as they seek additions late into the transfer window.
The Hammers have so far focused on adding experienced Premier League players this summer, with Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez all arriving at the London Stadium.
However, having lost 4-0 to Manchester United and 3-2 to Southampton, manager Slaven Bilic could head back into the transfer market for new signings to boost his fortunes.

Bilic appears to be keen on another midfielder, but with a deal for Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho proving hard to pull off, West Ham are now looking for alternative reinforcements in the engine room.
RMC Sport now report that West Ham have made an offer to sign Sunderland midfielder Didier Ndong, as they aim to land the Gabon international before next week’s transfer deadline.
Ndong, 23, joined Sunderland on deadline day last summer having impressed in France with Lorient, with the Black Cats breaking their transfer record with a £13.6million swoop, as reported by BBC Sport.

Ndong’s season was up-and-down as Sunderland were relegated, but he showed enought promise last term and in the early stages of this season to draw major interest ahead of the transfer deadline.
It’s claimed that West Ham have made their offer to the Sunderland hierarchy, but Lyon are hoping to lure him back to France, meaning a tug-of-war could break out over the coming days, with both teams vying for his signature.
Sunderland will look to recoup the money they spent on Ndong, and that could give manager Simon Grayson some money to spend in the transfer market as the Black Cats look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
