The reported West Ham United target hasn’t travelled on Nice’s pre-season training camp, according to a report.
According to Sky Sports, reported West Ham United target Jean-Michel Seri has not travelled with Nice on their pre-season training camp.
It was claimed last month [Sky Sports] that West Ham were interested in the Ivorian midfielder, whose release clause is around £35 million.
Nice-Matin reported that the 26-year-old – who is linked with a number of Premier League clubs – wanted to join a team from England’s top flight this summer.
And it looks like a move might be on the cards after Sky Sports claimed that he has not been included in Patrick Vieira’s squad for the group which travelled to Switzerland.
However, Nice Matin have also previously stated that the Arsenal and Chelsea-linked star is not interested in joining the Hammers.
According to The Sun, West Ham will wrap up a deal for former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere early next week, which could indicate that the Irons have taken the hint regarding Seri.
Wilshere and the Ivory Coast international are similar midfielders, so signing both does not seem logical for the East Londoners.
