West Ham United have seen a bid for Stoke City forward Marko Arnautovic rejected this summer.
According to a report from the London Evening Standard, West Ham are more than likely to make an improved bid for Stoke forward Marko Arnautovic after seeing their initial offer turned down.
The London Evening Standard reports that the Hammers have seen a £15 million bid rejected by the Potters despite the fact that the Austrian has handed in a transfer request.

But it appears that the Irons have not been deterred in their pursuit of the 28-year-old, with the London Evening Standard reporting that Stoke will be prepared to sell the forward at the right price and West Ham are almost certainly set to return with an improved offer.
If West Ham do manage to land their target during the coming weeks, his form for Stoke would suggest that they would be pulling off an excellent deal.
He has scored 18 goals and contributed 16 assists in the Premier League during his three seasons at the bet365 Stadium, so would arguably be a good addition to Slaven Bilic’s squad after a campaign where their strikers failed to make too notable a contribution.
But with only one new signing through the door at the London Stadium so far, West Ham fans would be forgiven for being sceptical about their chances of completing a deal until the moment it is confirmed – even if the signs suggest that the Hammers appear to have a good chance of securing a move.
