West Ham are tracking Pasquale Schiattarella.

West Ham are reported to be keen on a move for midfielder Pasquale Schiattarella.

Tuttomercatoweb report West Ham are keen on the SPAL midfielder, along with summer target Francesco Vicari, a defender.

West Ham are have reportedly sent scouts to check out the pair in action and are considering stepping up their interest.

Schiattarella is 30-years-old and has spent most of his career in Serie B. He has been at SPAL since 2016.

He has played 16 appearances this season for SPAL, scoring once and providing one assist.

Teammate Vicari is younger, at 23-years-old, and has played 18 times in Serie A this season. The pair helped the club win promotion to the top flight this season, where they sit 17th out of 20 teams.

West Ham boss David Moyes has made clear the need for West Ham to strengthen this transfer window, and the Italian duo could be cheap options.

Whether they would be names to inspire West Ham supporters, is another matter.
