West Ham have been joined by Brentford in the race to sign Hull City talent Keane Lewis-Potter.

As per the report, Brentford made an £8m offer for the West Ham target, but Hull are eager to sell Lewis-Potter for around £12m following a sensational season in League One. The youngster bagged 15 goals in all competitions last season.
Indeed, Lewis-Potter has exploded onto the scene in recent months with Hull with the attacker impressing in both League One and now the Championship. The forward already has three goals this campaign.
With Lewis-Potter’s contract expiring in 2023, there’s a good chance that Hull could look to cash in on the prospect this January. West Ham are keen on the youngster as reported by Team Talk.
The versatile winger will no doubt be on the radar for multiple clubs this January. Yet West Ham could face some fierce competition in Brentford, who have an excellent track record of developing young players.
West Ham could face a problem for Lewis-Potter in Brentford

The likes of Said Benrahma, Ollie Watkins and Neal Maupay all flourished for the Bees before moving on to greener pastures. And even in the Premier League, Lewis-Potter could be another project Thomas Frank undertakes.
However, with the Hammers competing in Europe, playing time could be more regular for Lewis-Potter should he decide to make the move to east London.
