West Ham United are reportedly entering the race for Jorrit Hendrix.

According to Calciomercato, West Ham United have joined the race to sign PSV Eindhoven midfielder Jorrit Hendrix in the January transfer window.
The Hammers appear to have turned the corner after taking seven points from games against Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United, with Manuel Pellegrini now looking to build after a poor start to the campaign.
Declan Rice has been a key cog in West Ham’s impressive displays, starring in holding midfield, with Mark Noble and Pedro Obiang also important – though Carlos Sanchez’s recent injury leaves the Hammers a little exposed in midfield.
Now, Calciomercato report that West Ham are indeed in the market for another midfielder, with PSV Eindhoven ace Jorrit Hendrix believed to be their top target for January.
Hendrix, 23, has come up through the PSV ranks having arrived back in 2004 as a child, and has now racked up more than 150 appearances for the Eindhoven club.
The holding midfielder has won two league titles with PSV and now has one cap for the Netherlands at international level as his stock continues to rise.

Just days ago, TEAMtalk reported that Tottenham are lining up a January move for Hendrix, having been impressed with him alongside teammate Steven Bergwijn.
Now though, West Ham could rival them for his signature when the transfer window opens, with left-footed Hendrix offering an option in holding midfield and at centre back.
