West Ham United have reportedly joined the battle for Ryan Manning.

According to London Football News, West Ham United have now joined the race to sign Queens Park Rangers ace Ryan Manning.
Manning, 23, joined QPR from Galway United in 2015, showing promise in his native Ireland as a midfield player before emerging into the R’s first team.
After a stint on loan at Rotherham United last season, Manning’s career has now been changed by Mark Warburton, as he has been converted to play as a left back.
Manning has starred for QPR this season, and it now seems that he’s attracting major interest ahead of the January transfer window.
The Northern Echo reported this week that Newcastle United want Manning in a £3million move, and it’s now claimed that West Ham have joined the race too.
Manning’s contract expires at the end of the season, but QPR are in a strong position given that they have a one-year option in the Irishman’s contract.

West Ham would enable Manning to stay in London, but given that both Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell have signed new contracts since the end of last season, moving for another left back would be a surprise.
Newcastle may therefore still have a great chance of signing Manning, but with Southampton and Watford also mentioned as potential suitors, there could be a real chase on for his signature in January.
