West Ham United midfielder Sead Haksabanovic is currently on loan elsewhere, but may be about to switch clubs in January.

The 19-year-old joined Malaga on loan in the summer. And while the initial plans were for the midfielder to spend the season in the Segunda Division, he has managed to make just one substitute appearance for Juan Muniz’s side.
Expressen reports that the Hammers are looking at bringing the youngster back in January, and have already got the ball rolling regarding a new destination for him.

Haksabanovic cost West Ham £2.7 million in 2017 (via BBC Sport), but he is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League. And with the Irons boasting a lot of quality in wide areas, it would be no surprise if the teenager was pessimistic about his chances of making the grade at the London Stadium.
Joining AIK would see the former Halmstads man return to the league he left to join the Hammers, so perhaps he would be forgiven for feeling that a return to the Swedish top flight – with a side who have won the title this term and qualified for the preliminary rounds of next season’s Champions League – may be a good move for him.
