According to the Daily Star, West Ham United are in talks with Middlesbrough over an £8million deal to sign winger Adama Traore this summer.
The Hammers have already made one new signing this summer after a disappointing campaign, with right back Pablo Zabaleta joining the club on a free transfer from Manchester City.
Manager Slaven Bilic still needs more new additions to his squad, and one area he may look to strengthen is on the flanks, given that Gokhan Tore has returned to Besiktas, whilst both Sofiane Feghouli and Robert Snodgrass have failed to hit top form since joining the club.
Now, the Daily Star claim that West Ham want to sign Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore, and have opened talks over an £8million deal for the Spaniard.

Traore, 21, came up through the ranks of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, but left for Aston Villa in search of first-team football in 2015 – but he managed just one goal in 12 games before being sold to Middlesbrough.
Traore’s time with Boro has been hot and cold, as whilst he made 27 Premier League appearances, he mustered just one assist with no goals to his name, whilst suffering a second successive relegation.

Now, West Ham could look to offer Traore another return to the Premier League, with Bilic’s men pursuing an £8million deal – enabling Middlesbrough to recoup their investment.
With blistering pace and superb dribbling ability, Traore can be an exciting player to watch, but his lack of end product has seen him heavily criticised, and Bilic must feel confident that he can develop the winger and get the best out of him in the future if he does bring him to East London.
