David Moyes’s West Ham United are in talks with Fulham to sell Issa Diop in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.

The Times have reported that Fulham are interested in signing Diop from West Ham this summer.

The Cottagers will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship.

West Ham are willing to sell the 25-year-old central defender – who described himself as “a very ambitious player” on the Hammers’ official website when he joined back in June 2018 – but they want £20 million in transfer fees, according to The Times, who have added that Fulham have not met that asking price.

Could Fulham sign Issa Diop from West Ham United?

In our view, West Ham United could eventually sell Issa Diop to Fulham in the summer transfer window for less than £20 million.

That the Hammers want to offload the 25-year-old this summer suggests that manager Moyes does not have him in his plans.

West Ham are likely to reduce their asking price for Drop in the coming weeks.

After all, the Hammers will surely prefer to get something for a player they do not have any need for, and will also want to get his wages off their books.
