West Ham United are reportedly in talks over a deal with Joao Mario.

According to RMC Sport in France, West Ham United are in talks over a deal to take Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario on loan for the rest of the season.
The Hammers only edged past League One side Shrewsbury Town in extra time of their FA Cup Third Round replay on Tuesday night, but have been in strong Premier League form.
David Moyes’ men hammered Huddersfield Town 4-1 on Saturday afternoon, meaning they have now won four of their last eight Premier League games, having won just two in 15 before that.

Moyes remains keen on new signings though, and adding a new midfielder to compete with the likes of Mark Noble, Cheikhou Kouyate and Pedro Obiang.
Now, RMC Sport in France report that West Ham have opened talks with Inter Milan over a deal to take Joao Mario on loan for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old joined Inter from Sporting in a £38million deal back in 2016 (Sky Sports), having emerged as one of the top talents in his native Portugal, impressing at Euro 2016 too.

However, after hitting three goals and five assists in Serie A last season, Mario has started just five league games this term, and look set to move on from the San Siro this month or at the end of the season.
It’s now believe that West Ham have made their move for Mario, but with the player allegedly having reservations over a move to the London Stadium, West Ham may have work to do before sealing a deal.
