Manchester United have reportedly offered Phil Jones to West Ham United.

According to The Sun, West Ham United have been offered Manchester United defender Phil Jones – but have no interest in taking him on board.
The Hammers are attempting to fend off major interest in star centre back Issa Diop, with Manchester United particularly interested in signing the Frenchman.
United have had a bid of £45million plus a mystery player turned down, with West Ham standing firm so far – and reports are now emerging that Jones was the player involved.
Jones, 27, only signed a new contract earlier this year, but has already been offered to the Hammers, and they’re not even interested in signing him.
The England international may now find that his days at Old Trafford are numbered after all, eight years after arriving from Blackburn Rovers in a £17million deal (BBC Sport).

It’s no great shock that West Ham have rejected this offer. Diop is young, athletic and only getting better, whereas it’s a few years now since Jones has been considered as as good Premier League defender.
West Ham fans would surely be furious if the Jones offer had been accepted, as they’ll need a much better centre back if they need to replace Diop this summer.
