West Ham United have reportedly looked at the Leganes striker in recent months, and he now appears to be heading to the Premier League.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Ham have shown interest in Leganes striker Youssef En-Nesyri in recent months as he seemingly edges closer to a move to Brighton this summer.
The Hammers have needed to strengthen their striker ranks after an underwhelming campaign. Marko Arnautovic finished as their top goalscorer in the Premier League, but he has since moved to China, and the fans would have been forgiven for being concerned about the lack of depth available to Manuel Pellegrini.
Sebastien Haller has since arrived in a club-record move, and the Daily Mail has this week suggested that the Irons also want Chuba Akpom after his title-winning season in PAOK. But it appears that they also considered a move for the La Liga frontman.
The Mail reports that the Morocco international was on West Ham’s radar at some stage in the past few months. But it appears that their interest may have cooled with talks ongoing between Leganes and Brighton over a potential £18 million move.

En-Nesyri enjoyed a promising season in Spain’s top flight last year, scoring nine goals in 31 appearances. It was, by far, his best campaign to date, and he may be on the verge of securing a move to the Premier League.
Haller appears to have the potential to be an inspired signing for West Ham this summer. But it will be interesting to see whether En-Nesyri – if he does move to the Amex Stadium – can show enough to make the Hammers rue not doing more to bring him to the London Stadium.
