West Ham United have until Friday to make a new offer for Gaetan Laborde after Montpellier set the Premier League outfit an ultimatum, as reported by Le10 Sport.
With just four days remaining until the January transfer window slams shut, David Moyes knows time is running out as he looks to bring in a new striker before it is too late.
Reports linking Graziano Pelle, Patson Daka, Abdallah Sima and more have grown cold while both Moussa Dembele and Youssef En-Nesyri have given a potential switch to London the cold shoulder.
With the well somewhat dry, don’t be surprised if West Ham return for Laborde in the near future.
The Evening Standard reported last week that the Hammers had seen an initial loan bid batted away by Montpellier, who will only consider selling their technically-gifted forward for a fee of £16 million.

And new claims coming out of France suggest that Montpellier have placed an ultimatum on West Ham.
If the Premier League surprise packages do not make a new bid for Laborde before the end of today, the 26-year-old will not be going anyway.
Presumably, Montpellier want to ensure that, if the former Bordeaux man does go, they will have enough time to replace him before the February 1 transfer deadline.
Given that both Laborde and his agent have spent most of the month insisting that staying in France would be no bad thing, do not expect the West Ham target to push for a last-gasp move.
