West Ham United have been given the chance to complete the signing of Craig Dawson on a permanent deal, the Sun have reported.
West Ham have taken Dawson on loan from Watford for the season, but the Hornets are open to selling him for £3 million.
The Hammers may want to reduce the number of loan players currently at the club, as they look to make additions in January.
Premier League sides are only allowed two loan players at any given time.
West Ham have already had to make room for Jesse Lingard by making Said Benrahma’s move to the London Stadium a permanent one ahead of time.

Now, they could do similar with Dawson, after Watford’s offer.
Dawson has made a brilliant start to life at West Ham and at such a cheap price, it does look a no-brainer to recruit him on a longer-term basis.
If West Ham make Dawson’s move permanent it means that they could bring in a striker on loan, which may make their search to find a new number nine before Monday’s deadline easier.
