West Ham United are reportedly keen on Hoffenheim’s Steven Zuber.

According to Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo, West Ham United are interested in signing Hoffenheim ace Steven Zuber – but so are Juventus and Sevilla.
Zuber, 25, emerged as a top young winger with Grasshopper in his native Switzerland, before his 21 goals in 119 games earned him a big move to Russia with CSKA Moscow in 2013.
Zuber failed to live up his billing in Russia as he scored just once in 29 games for CSKA, with Hoffenheim taking a gamble on him in the summer of 2014.
Now, Zuber has rebuilt his career in Germany having switched to play as a wing back, notching three goals and two assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances for Julian Nagelsmann’s side.
Having impressed this season, the recent Switzerland cap is being monitored by a number of clubs, as Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo claim that West Ham United are battling Juventus and Sevilla for his signature.
It’s claimed that all three clubs have been impressed by Zuber’s displays and are now weighing up summer bids, but luring him away from Hoffenheim won’t be easy.

The report states that Hoffenheim don’t want to sell Zuber, and have slapped a €10m (£8.5m) asking price on his head for any summer deal.
It’s unclear whether West Ham would view Zuber as a left back or as a left-sided midfielder, but signing him as competition for Aaron Cresswell may make some sense given Arthur Masuaku’s struggles this season – but fighting off two European powers could be difficult for the Hammers.
