According to the Daily Record, Rangers have no intention of selling right back James Tavernier with West Ham United interested.
It’s claimed that West Ham want to sign Tavernier before Monday’s transfer deadline, and David Moyes is ready to make his move.
However, West Ham allegedly fear that the fee will be too expensive for them, with Rangers unwilling to part with their captain.
Tavernier is also described as being ‘happy’ at Ibrox, so there appears to be little chance of a move to East London before Monday.
Rangers have so far managed to fend off interest in Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent, and now look set to keep hold of Tavernier too.
The 28-year-old joined Rangers from Wigan Athletic in 2015, and has been in strong form this season with six goals and four assists in 11 games.

His total record for Rangers now stands at a staggering 52 goals and 78 assists in 254 games, showcasing his outstanding attacking ability throughout his time at Ibrox.
West Ham need a right back having seen Ryan Fredericks go down with an injury, but it seems that Moyes will have to look elsewhere with Tavernier and Rangers not interested in a deal.
