West Ham United striker Andy Carroll is wanted by Chelsea.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham United are fearing that striker Andy Carroll could force a move away from the club this month amid strong interest from Chelsea.
The Hammers are in good form under David Moyes, and ran riot against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon, picking up a superb 4-1 victory as they continue to edge away from the relegation zone.
Whilst Moyes will mostly be looking to bring in new faces this month, he may also have to cope with interest in his own players, with striker Andy Carroll attracting admiring glances.

The Telegraph report that Chelsea want to snap up Carroll this month as manager Antonio Conte desperately attempts to land another centre forward, with target man Carroll fitting the bill.
It’s claimed that West Ham don’t want to lose Carroll, certainly not on loan, and actually fear that Carroll may now push to leave the club in order to seal a move to Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year-old striker has hit two goals in 12 Premier League games this season, and his aerial ability appears to have impressed Conte, who missed out on signing Fernando Llorente over the summer.

With just three starts under Moyes, it’s claimed that Carroll may look to move on, and West Ham think that he may push for a move this month – though will be praying that he doesn’t quite cause as much trouble as Dimitri Payet did last January.
Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi has been mentioned as a possible makeweight in a deal, but West Ham will hope to stand firm and keep Carroll at the London Stadium.
