West Ham United are allegedly keen on signing Barcelona defender Marlon.

West Ham United are favourites to sign Barcelona defender Marlon, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, who has spent the past season on loan at Nice.
The 22-year-old has previously attracted interest from the Premier League, with Leicester City having thought to have been keen in the past.

Yet now the Hammers are at the front of the queue for the Brazilian and Barca are now waiting for a formal offer from the East London club.
Marlon was signed by Barcelona B from Fluminense in his native Brazil, initially on loan, back in 2016 before it was made permanent a year later.

The centre-back has made three first team appearances for the Catalan side, but has been in France since August 2017 after joining Nice on a temporary deal
Since then the Brazil Under-23 international has played 27 times in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit and has impressed.
