West Ham United are leading the chase to sign Sporting Lisbon winger Jovane Cabral despite interest from a number of Serie A clubs, according to A Bola.
As is usual for this time of year, one of the biggest clubs in Portuguese football are spotting vultures circling over the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Rodrigo Fernandes has been linked with Wolves, Everton apparently want Wendel and now their Cape Verde international forward is being tipped for a move to the Premier League.
According to A Bola, West Ham are interested and, what’s more, they are at the front of the queue for Jovane’s signature.
The report adds that the 22-year-old also has offers on the table from Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, while a pair of as-yet unnamed Serie A outfits have made their move.
For now, however, the London Stadium looks the most likely destination for a versatile forward who caught the eye with six goals for Sporting during the 2019/20 campaign.

“Jovane Cabral has a lot of quality and, if he works hard, can become a serious player,” former Portugal, Benfica and Atletico Madrid winger Simao Sabrosa told Sapo last week.
A Bola also claimed that newly-promoted Fulham had a £9 million bid rejected in July.
