West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Andreas Pereira on loan during the January transfer window.

The Hammers have enjoyed a brilliant upturn in form lately. The 2-0 victory away at Fulham on Saturday evening was Manuel Pellegrini’s side’s fourth win in a row and they now sit just two points off sixth place in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Pellegrini appears to have his eye on strengthening in January. The Sunday People (16/12; page 49) reports that the Irons are keen on a loan deal for Pereira, who appears to be edging towards the Old Trafford exit.
The report suggests that the Brazil international is out of contract at the end of the season. Manchester United plan to take up an option in his deal, but he has rejected extending his terms further.

It remains to be seen whether he has any interest in heading to the London Stadium for the rest of the season. He has struggled for game-time with Jose Mourinho’s side, but holding down a regular spot the Irons side will not necessarily be an easy task either.
The likes of Felipe Anderson and Robert Snodgrass are playing superbly at the moment. Pereira would unquestionably improve Pellegrini’s options further, and he may look at a move to West Ham as a chance to put himself into the shop window if he is keen to leave his current club.
