West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing the Celta Vigo aces.

Manuel Pellegrini manager

According to a report from well-renowned football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham are lining up a €60 million (£53.4 million) double swoop for Celta Vigo duo Maxi Gomez and Stanislav Lobotka.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini will undoubtedly be desperate to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium this summer, and the additions of a top class centre-forward and a combative central midfielder will surely feature highly on his wish-list.

West Ham finished in 10th spot in the Premier League table this season, and they will de keen to improve upon that next term by mounting a sustained push for the top seven.

In order to do that, Pellegrini needs to substantially strengthen his squad, and according to Gianluca Di Marzio, he is already looking to do just that.

The Italian football journalist claims that West Ham are eyeing a double swoop for Celta Vigo stars Maxi Gomez, 22, and Stanislav Lobotka, 24 – one that will cost the east London outfit a combined fee of £53.4 million.

The duo are still young and have plenty to offer at the very highest level.

Gomez and Lobotka seem to be ideally suited to the robust nature of the Premier League, and should West Ham manage to sign them both for just £53.4 million, it would surely have to be considered as quite the coup for the east Londoners.
