90min are reporting today that West Ham are on the hunt for a new centre-back due to injury to summer signing Nayef Aguerd.
The defender is likely to be out of action until the very end of 2022 or start of 2023.
West Ham are looking to sign a replacement and have enquired about signing Holgate from Everton this summer, according to 90min.
The report has added that West Ham manager Moyes ‘is keen to bring in a defender who could offer tactical versatility’.

Could West Ham sign Mason Holgate from Everton?
In our view, West Ham United could be able to sign Mason Holgate from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window.
Money talks, and if the Hammers splash the cash, then they could be able to secure the services of the 25-year-old, who can operate in central midfield as well.
The Englishman made 23 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton last season.
Holgate scored two goals and gave one assist in those matches.
The centre-back has scored three goals and created eight big chances in 118 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
