Queens Park Rangers would demand Jordan Hugill as part of any deal that will take Eberechi Eze to West Ham United this summer, according to West London Sport.

After narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League, the Hammers have now been handed the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

While securing the services of one of English football’s most technically gifted young attackers, the London giants can also get an £8 million man off the wage bill.

Hugill is undoubtedly one of the most bizarre signings in West Ham’s recent history – and that is saying something.

In the space of two-and-a-half years, the Middlesbrough born targetman has played just 22 games for the Hammers.

But after finding the net 13 times in 30 Championship matches during a loan spell at QPR, West Ham have the ideal opportunity to finally push their forgotten man out the door.

West London Sport claims that QPR want Hugill on a permanent deal, and they’d accept a player-plus-cash deal which would see the £20 million-rated Eze go in the other direction.

Crystal Palace are also allegedly huge fans of the England U21 international.

A 14-goal attacking midfielder, he would not only add some much-needed creativity to Roy Hodgson’s side but also perfectly fits a club desperate to inject some youthful exuberance into an ageing squad.

Yet it seems that West Ham have a 6ft ace up their sleeve in the shape of Jordan Hugill.
