West Ham United are convinced they’ll be able to sign Jesse Lingard from Manchester United on a permanent basis if they qualify for Europe, EuroSport reports.
West Ham have attempted to accelerate talks to sign Lingard after the huge impact he has made since arriving on loan.
However, they have been unable to do a deal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to date.
West Ham are still apparently waiting to find out what price the Red Devils want for the attacking midfield.
But Lingard is set to push for a move, which could help West Ham land the player who has surely become one of their top targets.
Lingard has proven beyond all doubt his quality at the London Stadium.
After being frozen out at Manchester United, Lingard joined West Ham with a point to prove and he has quickly become integral to David Moyes’ side’s plans.

If Lingard was to sign it would really raise the optimism levels ahead of West Ham for next term.
The Hammers appear in with a good chance of securing European football, as they currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League table, although injury issues are hurting them at the moment.
