West Ham United have reportedly set the ball rolling regarding a move for the international left-back.

According to a report from BBC Sport, West Ham want Hasan Ali Kaldirim and have made contact with the Fenerbahce captain’s agent over a potential summer move.
The Hammers have already completed two deals at the start of this window, with goalkeepers Roberto and David Martin arriving on free transfers to provide cover for Lukasz Fabianski.
And it appears that Manuel Pellegrini is now hoping to bolster his options at left-back. BBC Sport reports that the Irons have been in contact with Kaldirim’s agent over a switch to the London Stadium.
The report notes that the Turkey international is keen to move to the Premier League and has a release clause worth just £4.42 million, so you would imagine that a transfer fee is not going to prove to be a problem if the Hammers follow up on their interest.

The 29-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign with Fener, scoring three goals and providing four assists across the top flight and the Europa League. And given his release clause, he may prove to be an incredibly shrewd signing for West Ham if he heads to England this summer.
Hammers fans however, may have their concerns about the reports in light of the two signings that they have already made. Three additions through the door for less than £5 million hardly captures the imagination, and the supporters will be hoping that the strategy changes in the near future.
