West Ham United will reportedly have no shortage of offers for midfielder Pedro Obiang, who they rate at £15 million.

According to a report from The Sun, West Ham will weigh up whether to cash in on Pedro Obiang this summer as Fiorentina prepare a bid for the midfielder, while both Villarreal and Besiktas monitor his situation at the London Stadium.

The 26-year-old endured a frustrating season for the Irons, making just 21 Premier League appearances for the club. A knee injury kept him sidelined from January until he returned for a four minute appearance on the final day of the campaign against Everton.

The Sun reports however, that there is still plenty of interest in the Spaniard, with Fiorentina plotting a bid while two other sides are hoping to lure him away from England during the coming months.

The Sun adds that the Hammers value Obiang at around £15 million and Manuel Pellegrini could be left to weigh up whether this summer is the right time to cash in as he prepares for his first season in charge of the club after taking over from David Moyes.

Obiang has been a decent performer during his time with the Irons, so it may well be a tough decision for Pellegrini, especially as central midfield is an area that the club need to look to strengthen this summer.

If they sell Obiang, they are putting themselves under even more pressure to get signings in who can make a difference in the middle of the park. If they have those players lined up already however, then letting the former Sampdoria ace move on may perhaps make a lot of sense for all involved.
