The Hammers striker has endured a hit-and-miss Premier League season and appeared ready to leave in January.

West Ham United forward Javier Hernandez has been linked once again with a departure from the London Stadium, with a report from Italy suggesting he is looking to leave the Premier League.
The 30-year-old has had a fairly hit and miss season in which he made just 14 starts in the league, and 25 league appearances overall, netting seven goals and registering three assists according to Transfermarkt.
In November last year, Chicharito went on record to state that he was prepared to leave West Ham for the sake of first-team football – in an interview with Spanish outlet Marca, he was asked whether he would consider leaving the following summer, and he replied: “I don’t know, even this winter!”
Hernandez featured more often in the coming weeks but a back injury in late December kept him out for four league games, while a look at his game time over the season shows he only played two full 90-minute games in the league (Transfermarkt).

According to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, the Mexico international is hoping to seal a move to Spain and play for a club in La Liga – Valencia reportedly wanted him in January – but he is said to also be getting offers from the United States.
However, the source claims that a stumbling block in any prospective move away from England is Hernandez’s wages, said to be 4 million Euro – approximately £3.5million – a year.
