West Ham United cannot afford Victor Osimhen or Allan, according to AreaNapoli.

West Ham have had an eye on Lille striker Osimhen and Napoli midfielder Allan heading into the transfer window.

However, it seems that the Hammers will lose out in the race to sign the pair.

West Ham are not believed to have the budget to reach the asking price for either of the high profile pair.

Osimhen now looks likely to join Napoli, even if there is interest from other clubs, while Allan could well depart Italy.

West Ham, meanwhile, could well take a more domestic focussed transfer approach this summer.

West Ham have bought from the continent recently, but have had mixed success with their dealings.

The Hammers now seem to be targeting more English-based players, with David Moyes’s side likely to try and pluck some of the best talents in the Championship in the coming months.
