The deal has been helped along as selling club Brentford have a replacement already lined up.
The Bees are plotting to sign Barnsley striker Sam Winnall for £3 million.

Winnall, 25, is just one year older than Hogan and does not have the worrying injury history the outgoing striker has.
This season he has scored an impressive 11 goals in 22 Championship games. Hogan has netted 14 in 25 matches.
The Mirror also report Brentford are eyeing Coventry City midfielder Ben Stevenson.
Winnall is an ideal replacement for Hogan and the fact Brentford have a deal lined up indicates that West Ham’s move to sign Hogan is imminent.
