West Ham United have reportedly begun talks with Real Madrid over a summer move for Dani Ceballos.

West Ham have entered into discussions with Real Madrid as they look to secure a summer deal for Dani Ceballos, who has been told that he has no future at Real Madrid, according to a report from the Daily Express.
The 22-year-old has made 13 La Liga starts for Los Blancos this term, but the Express reports that Zinedine Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu is likely to ensure that his own spell with the La Liga giants will come to an end this summer.
And it appears that he could well be London Stadium-bound. The Express suggests that West Ham have begun talks with Real, with Manuel Pellegrini impressed with the scouting reports that he has received on the midfielder.
The report adds that Madrid want £20 million for Ceballos. Given some of the fees that some Premier League sides are paying for targets, that could be an outstanding bargain for the Irons if they manage to get a deal across the line.

West Ham’s midfield has been a real strength this term, with Declan Rice and Mark Noble forming an excellent partnership in the middle of the park. But, while Rice looks destined for greatness, it is probably not a huge surprise that Pellegrini is looking to make further improvements.
Noble and Robert Snodgrass are arguably the kind of players that the Hammers need to keep amongst their squad, but Ceballos would arguably be an immediate upgrade if he settles well, and he would have the potential to improve further.
