West Ham United are reportedly set to sign Benfica’s Joao Felix.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham United have beaten two Premier League rivals and Borussia Dortmund for Benfica talent Joao Felix, with talks advanced between the two clubs.
The Hammers have brought in seven new signings this summer, with Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena, Jack Wilshere, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko all arriving at the London Stadium.
However, West Ham remain keen on more additions, and whilst Guimaraes winger Xande Silva looks set for a move to East London, he may not be the only Portuguese talent heading to the Hammers.
Sky Sports report that West Ham are in advanced talks with Benfica for the transfer of midfielder Joao Felix, who is a Portugal Under-19 teammate of Hammers talent Domingos Quina.
It’s also noted that West Ham have beaten two Premier League clubs to his signature as well as Borussia Dortmund, with the teenager all set to join the Hammers.

Felix, 18, has been with Benfica since 2015, and he has become one of the top wonderkids in Portugal during his time in Lisbon, attracting interest from Europe’s heavyweight clubs.
Now though, West Ham appear to have secured his services, after hitting 14 goals and six assists in all competitions for Benfica’s youth setup last season.
