West Ham United have had a bid turned down for Youssef En-Nesyri, according to the Athletic.

En-Nesyri is currently playing for Sevilla, and he has apparently emerged as West Ham’s top target to replace Sebastien Haller.

The striker has actually been on West Ham’s radar for some time, with the club originally linked with him when Manuel Pellegrini was in charge in the Daily Mail.

But it seems that West Ham feel that now is the time to push in an attempt to bring the Moroccan to the club.

Sevilla are seemingly keen to keep hold of the 23-year-old, and have already turned down an offer worth around £27 million.

But West Ham could well make a repeat bid, in the hope of landing the attacker this month.

If En-Nesyri was brought to West Ham he could be an extremely exciting addition to their squad.

The rangy forward has hit 12 goals in 25 games for Sevilla this term, including four in the Champions League.

And he could be a good fit for David Moyes’s side, as West Ham look to inject more goals into their team.
