West Ham United have reportedly ended their interest in Andrea Petagna.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham United no longer want SPAL striker Andrea Petagna after signing Sebastien Haller – and he’s not keen on a move to Leeds either
Petagna, 24, smashed 16 goals in 36 outings for SPAL last season, emerging as one of the top strikers in Italian football in the process.
A 6ft 3in powerhouse of a striker, Petagna has now made his loan move from Atalanta permanent, and there has already been interest in his signature.
TMW claim West Ham wanted Petagna, but have now backed away having landed a similar striker in club-record signing Haller earlier this summer.
It’s noted again that Leeds have allegedly offered €15million (£13.75m) for Petagna, but he’s not interested in making the move to Elland Road.
We have doubts that such a move is really on the table, as the money involved seems a little beyond Leeds right now, even with Kemar Roofe on his way to Anderlecht.

It’s no great surprise though that Petagna – who will harbour ambitions of playing for Italy at Euro 2020 next summer – isn’t keen on heading from Serie A to the Championship.
Fiorentina allegedly hold an interest in Petagna, and that may be his best for a move away from SPAL, as his chances of a move to England are seemingly dwindling.
