West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham are interested in signing Edmilson Junior from Standard Liege in the summer transfer window, according to DH.be.

It has been reported by the Belgian news outlet that Premier League trio West Ham, Wolves and Fulham are closely following the 23-year-old winger’s situation at Liege.

Standard Liege's Junior Edmilson celebrates after scoring a goal during the UEFA Europa League group G football match between Standard Liege and Panathinaikos in Liege on October 20, 2016.

The winger is one of the best players at his Belgian club, and his manager Michel Preud’homme reportedly wants him to stay for one more season and has offered him a new contract.

Italian clubs Fiorentina, Genoa and Sassuolo are also interested in Junior, according to DH.be.

Risky signing?

Junior did well well for Liege this past season, but that was in Belgium, and signing a player from the Belgian league would be a bit risky.

Of course, if Wolves, West Ham or Fulham are able to sign him for a relatively small fee, then it would be worth a shot, but the Premier League trio should not pay over the top for the 23-year-old winger.
