According to The Sun, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United will have to pay £15 million for Bournemouth striker Josh King if they want to sign him this month.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Bournemouth want £15 million for King, and that both Newcastle and West Brom are willing to pay that.
West Ham value the Norway international striker at £13 million, and the £15 million fee is more than what Hammers’ co-chairman David Sullian had hoped to pay, according to the report.
Competition for Josh King
West Ham, West Brom and Newcastle all could do with a new striker in the January transfer window.
Sebastien Haller has struggled for goals and is on the verge of joining Ajax, according to The Sun.
Joelinton has scored just one goal in 15 Premier League matches for Newcastle so far this season, according to WhoScored, while West Brom have found the back of the net just 11 times in 17 league games.
With King out of contract at Bournemouth at the end of the season, the Cherries could have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the former Manchester United prospect.
