West Ham and Tottenham are both reportedly interested in Manuel Akanji.

Liverpool are long term admirers of the defender, who is a regular for FC Basel.
Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing Akanji, but have fallen short of meeting the Swiss side’s valuation.
Basel want 20 million Euros if they are to consider a sale.

Akanji is due to feature in the Champions League last 16 for Basel next month, against runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City.
He impressed in the group stages against Manchester United, although Pep Guardiola’s side will be an even more fearsome test.
Southampton are also keen on the 22-year-old, who was recently named as Switzerland’s brightest young talent.
Tottenham have several options already at centre-back, and their resources are more likely to be directed towards signing attackers, but Akanji would nonetheless be viewed as a shrewd acquisition.
