Reported West Ham United and Leicester City target Luka Jovic has contacted his agent to discuss a move away from Real Madrid in 2021, according to Defensa Central.
The one-and-only Lionel Messi might think the Serbian striker is a ‘magical’ footballer capable of making the impossible possible, but it is safe to say Zinedine Zidane does not share the Argentine’s assessment.
Jovic has not started a La Liga match since September and, to make matters worse, appears to have fallen behind another seldom-seen centre-forward, Mariano Diaz, in Real Madrid’s pecking order.
With DC reporting that Real Madrid now have their sights firmly fixed on another Brazilian wonder-kid in Sao Paulo talisman Brenner, a £59 million signing from Eintracht Frankfurt appears to be circling the Bernabeu plughole.
DC adds that Jovic, who would ideally love to stay and become a star in Madrid, has contacted his agent and will push for a move away from the La Liga champions unless things change between now and January.

The 22-year-old, who has started just six La Liga matches in over a year in the Spanish capital, is concerned that his bench-warming role will cost him a starting role in Serbia’s Euro 2021 squad with Aleksandar Mitrovic, Dusan Tadic and Fiorentina starlet Dusan Vlahovic for competition.
The Mirror (1 November, page 61) reports that Leicester and West Ham could offer Jovic a fresh start in January, perhaps inspired by the remarkable renaissance enjoyed by James Rodriguez since he left Madrid for England.
As recently as 2019, Jovic scored 27 times while firing Frankfurt to within one penalty shoot-out of the Europa League final, all the while forming a fearsome partnership with Sebastien Haller.
Could they be reunited at West Ham?
