West Ham United and Everton are said to be keeping a close eye on the 18-year-old.
According to German publication Kicker, Premier League duo Everton and West Ham United are paying close attention to Hertha Berlin youngster Muhammed Kiprit, and it will be interesting to see if either side makes their move in January or next summer.
The 18-year-old is predominantly a centre forward, although he can also operate on either flank if required, and it is claimed that both Everton and West Ham have expressed an interest in the player despite the fact that he is yet to feature for the German club’s senior side.
Kiprit has a sensational record at youth level, scoring 27 goals in 36 appearances for Hertha’s under-19s and 19 goals in 25 games at under-17 level.
With that kind of return it is no surprise the Toffees and the Hammers have made their interest known and it could be a major disappointment for whoever misses out.
That said, the two English clubs are not the only ones interested, with Wolfsburg allegedly keen to keep him in the Bundesliga.
If West Ham ultimately get the player they would have two very talented young forwards on their books, with Kiprit potentially joining the prolific Toni Martinez at the London Stadium.
The Spaniard is expected to get his first-team breakthrough under new manager David Moyes and if West Ham want to replace his goals in the under-23 team, Kiprit could be the ideal solution.
